AI is used across industries for a variety of applications:

• Finance: Fraud detection, stock market analysis, and customer service through AI-driven chatbots.
• Technology: Powering virtual assistants (e.g., Siri, Alexa), self-driving cars, and recommendation systems on platforms like Netflix and YouTube.

In my future career as a software developer, I would use AI to develop intelligent applications and solutions, such as creating predictive algorithms, automating tasks, or building interactive user experiences. AI aligns perfectly with my Information Technology major because it combines programming, data analysis, and innovative problem solving key components of the field. Through my education at HCC and eventually USF, I will gain foundational skills in coding and system design, which are essential for understanding and implementing AI technologies. Additionally, many IT courses now include AI and machine learning modules, preparing me for this specialization.
