Chosen Major

I chose Information Technology as my major because it aligns with my passion for technology and problem-solving, offering endless opportunities to innovate and create solutions that improve daily life. IT is a rapidly evolving field with high demand, providing me the chance to build a meaningful career while contributing to advancements in areas like software development, AI, and virtual reality.

What HCC degree you will obtain

I am currently pursuing my Associate degree in Information Technology at Hillsborough Community College (HCC), where I am building a strong foundation in programming, system design, and emerging technologies. After completing my associate degree, I plan to transfer to the University of South Florida (USF) to earn my bachelor’s degree in IT. USF’s comprehensive program will help me further enhance my skills and prepare me for a fulfilling career in software development and innovation, particularly in fields like artificial intelligence and virtual reality.
